I feel that those of us involved in agriculture need to do more than just
produce a good crop. I am a member of the National Corn Growers
Association, American Soybean Association and the Tennessee Farm Bureau.
Currently I serve as President of the Tennessee Corn Growers Association
and on the Grower Services Action Team for the NCGA. Not only do we need
the support of farmers but also landlords and others involved in
agriculture. A large part of our future in agriculture is based policy
decisions made in Washington DC. These organizations do an excellent job
of safeguarding our ag policy positions and promoting our commodities here
in the US and around the world. If you are not a member I encourage you to
